Historically, these areas have had the most snow because of the geography and weather. That's a good indication of what is going to happen this season too. Beware though, lots of snow depth might mean you'll get snowed in.

The more runs there are, the more variety and choice you have.

Tiny resorts can be a lot of fun. They are usually less crowded and have a more relaxed atmosphere.
