Created by women, for women, focusing on powder riding with unique designs, using quality Japanese materials.
SECCA was founded by Japanese Olympic snowboarder Yoko Sasaki (formerly Miyake). Board graphic design can be customized on order.
They are known for models like the NATIVE and EMERALD, blending lifestyle with riding through its smooth, floaty, and responsive designs.
Part of the ACT Gear group and sister brand to UNIT mfg.
Signature Boards
This is the first model launched by SECCA.
SECCA adopts "Dual Sidewall," which is a cap structure only at the feet. It responds well to delicate foot movements, increasing edge grip and providing high gliding performance. It offers the stable, comfortable acceleration unique to full camber boards, and enables crisp, responsive turns with good rebound. While allowing for pleasant carving turns, the distinctively uplifted nose shape generates lift that allows it to float even at low speeds. Despite its 154cm length, the Emerald offers nimble glide and has been a classic model since SECCA's inception, continuing for 13 years.
The EMERALD has a highland option, which increases stiffness by changing the core material in the center from nose to tail to 7cm red pine. With the same torsion and a moderately firm flex, it also increases buoyancy, providing absolute reliability for riding on rough terrain, large slopes, and steep slopes.
Among SECCA models, only this NATIVE is equipped with "VC CAMBER."
This luxurious model, which pursues both gliding power and buoyancy, was created for those who want to make exhilarating, accelerating turns in powder snow. Variable Camber (= VC CAMBER) changes the effective edge length according to the edge angle and load. While it is close to a Full Camber shape, the variable effective edge length creates smooth, flowing, uninterrupted edge grip and stability without catching. Smooth riding in bowls, banks, and wall riding, a sense of acceleration in powder, and the way the spray rises with a tail behind it are unique to this model!
Another feature of this model is the tail shape, which differs from other models that maximize the effective edge length in pursuit of gliding power. The flex is slightly stiffer than RISE, softer than FANTASTIC, and similar to FOREST, but its buoyancy in powder is by far superior.
The nose is wide, gently long, and beautifully shaped upwards, and the wide waist width firmly maintains the buoyancy gained from the nose and guides it to the tail.
It will powerfully carve magnificent turns into the snow, raising large sprays, and satisfy our innate desire to ride "NATIVE"!
