Kuroudo Maki, who showcases diverse talents as an actor, rapper, surfer, and snowboarder. He is truly a genius when it comes to riding boards sideways, demonstrating exceptional riding skills. For a long time, he has been active as part of the T.J CREW. And now, Claude Maki has finally unveiled his completely original shape, "STEEP FLY."

Despite being a mid-length, it considers control even in challenging terrain, with both the effective edge and contact length set to be shorter. It features a long nose that can withstand high-speed attacks and a longer tail designed for enjoying speed to its limits. The 168cm mid-length board is an indispensable size for him, who constantly seeks speed. The side cut near the nose has a smaller radius (R) to facilitate turns and ensure maneuverability. The extended tail provides a tenacious drive while minimizing speed loss, and a larger R is adopted for continuous big turns. The main R, inspired by surfboards, is incorporated into STEEP FLY as a reverse R, making manual control for each section exceptionally enjoyable. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this shape design could only have been created by Claude Maki.
