A stiff directional swallowtail for charging fast through old-growth forest, trading agility for drive and acceleration in the trees.

Hakuba Special 3: "attack the climax forest at high speed". The final form of the tree-run model.

A directional body with a set-forward design and a structure unique to this board, with a full surface carried from the base of the swallowtail. By deliberately holding back agility it gains outstanding drive and acceleration in the forest, and stays stable and dependable dropping straight down through the trees, over mushrooms and in gullies. In powder you gain initial speed by weighting the front foot and control and slow the board freely with the back foot.

The graphic is a topographic map of the forest, which can be used for mental rehearsal and for checking where you are.

Sintered base (P-tex 3000), camber, flex 7/10, 156 cm; nose 299 mm, waist 255 mm, tail 282 mm; 28 insert holes. Made in China. Sold in 2025-26 and 2026-27, its final season.
