THE DAY South 2301
A thin, light swallowtail with a wide nose for heavy, sun-affected powder on south-facing slopes.
"A partner for mastering heavy powder." Developed to ride a spot on a south-facing slope at an altitude of 2,301 m.
A thin, light swallowtail with a wide nose, designed for powder on south slopes that the sun has worked on. The wide nose starts the turn powerfully, and torsion is carried right to the very end of the tail so that each turn is finished carefully and dynamically. The swallowtail is reinforced at its tips and base, which lets the effective edge run as far back as possible.
Sintered base (P-tex 3000), camber, flex 5/10, 156 cm; nose 313 mm, waist 265 mm, tail 293 mm; 24 insert holes; sidecut 9.2 m. Made in China. Sold in 2024-25 and 2025-26; the design was partly changed for the second season.
