Island Snowboards VOLUME ONE

A tapered directional all-mountain board with Island's Layback Camber, built for Hokkaido powder, steep faces and groomers alike.

A versatile all-mountain board designed to ride everything from Hokkaido's deepest powder to the steepest alpine faces, whether charging through untouched powder, carving groomers or navigating tight trees. The latest edition has extra glass in the nose and tail for more stiffness and stability.

The shape: a tapered directional outline, the signature Layback Camber profile and early-rising nose and tail keep you afloat in deep powder. The progressive sidecut, Japanese wood core and carbon stringers give a balanced flex, powerful enough to hold a fast, steep line but not too stiff for low carves on a groomer.

The graphic: by Owen Tozer, capturing night riding in Japan through slow shutter speeds and colour gradients in the snow. Each size has its own crop of the image and its own graphic elements.

Sizes: 148, 153, 158 and 163 cm. Taper 15 mm, setback 30 mm, sidecut 6.8 to 8.2 m, waist 241 to 261 mm. Handmade in Hokkaido.
