SECCA RISE

PowderFreeride

Repeated testing and improvements have been made to the uneven thickness of the tail since last year by Hiromi Takahashi, who joined the SECCA TEAM in the 2023 season. And for the 2023-24 model, it has been renewed as "tap tail"! In addition to the agile maneuverability of the past, the smoothness of turn connections has been improved. By making the tail slightly softer, the repulsive force has also increased, resulting in a multi-purpose board that further expands the enjoyment of all-round riding.

RISE, with its gently rockered large nose, creates excellent buoyancy. Among the lineup, it has the widest nose and the strongest taper.

A strong taper makes for a very enjoyable feel when riding in powder, but usually tends to make carving on hard slopes difficult. However, Act Gear snowboards are exquisitely balanced in terms of board twist and flex towards the tail, so they are an all-round finish that can firmly grip the snow surface and carve even on groomed slopes. It is the ideal model not only for powder but also for freeriding.

The tap-tail of the RISE 144 is praised by Hiromi Takahashi, who has ridden many short models, as becoming the best model in Japan at this length. The comfortable repulsive force creates a feeling of accompanying the movement of the feet. Although short, it also has buoyancy to the extent that it clears tests in deep powder during the high season.

Comparing only RISE and FOREST, both are SECCA's top two all-round models. RISE emphasizes buoyancy, while FOREST emphasizes gliding.
