A freeride-minded carving board with X-shaped metal plates under both feet for strong edge grip without losing freestyle-like control.

"A freeride-oriented carving board." The XX pursues carving while still playing on terrain and riding well in all kinds of snow. A simple, easy round nose and a normal-wide directional shape carry X-shaped metal plates under both feet, which combine the control of a freestyle board with the edge grip of a dedicated carving board. The shape keeps the nose from biting and the flex is tuned for smooth control from hardpack to wet spring snow; commit to the turn and the plates produce powerful edging.
